Mr. Hanson is a real estate transactional attorney and a partner in Sherry Meyerhoff Hanson & Crance LLP.  His practice focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, construction, development and limited liability, partnership and joint venture structuring.  He represents publicly traded entities, closely held business and high net worth individuals.  Mr. Hanson has extensive experience in the representation of commercial, office, retail and industrial developers, lenders, landlords, tenants, institutional owners and REITs in connection with the acquisition, financing, leasing and disposition of a wide variety of real estate assets.  This representation includes many of the country's most prominent office, condominium, industrial and retail projects, including structuring of complex multi-owner property arrangements, sophisticated joint venture acquisition and development arrangements, financing, development and leasing of class A shopping centers, and leasing and development of properties for the operation of post-secondary schools.  Mr. Hanson's development experience includes the preparation and negotiation of construction contracts, development agreements, management agreements, reciprocal easement agreements, CC&R's and other real estate related contracts.

Mr. Hanson formerly practiced in the Costa Mesa Office of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP.  He is a member of the Real Property and Business and Corporate Sections of the Orange County Bar Association.  Mr. Hanson graduated from Brigham Young University and, with high honors, from Duke University School of Law, where he was an editor for the journal, Law and Contemporary Problems.  Mr. Hanson lives in Orange County, California with his wife and five children.
