Mr. Eckhardt joined Sherry Meyerhoff Hanson & Crance LLP as a transactional attorney in January 2006. Since then, he has represented general corporate clients in connection with real estate-related and general business matters such as acquisitions, dispositions, loan assumptions and modifications, leasing, like-kind exchanges, easement agreements, condemnations, and property management.
Mr. Eckhardt received a BA in English and Spanish from Hillsdale College in 1994 and a masters of science in administration from Central Michigan University in 2000. He served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1996-2000, deploying once to Kuwait. Following the Marines, he worked for Washington Mutual as a policy analyst and later a contract developer, while concurrently earning his law degree from Chapman University School of Law. During his last year at Chapman, he worked as a law clerk for the general litigation firm of Spray, Gould and Bowers LLP and then served as a judicial extern to the Honorable James N. Barr, United States Bankruptcy Court. He is a member of the Real Property Sections of the California Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
